In order to benefit from the dental tourism services of the Dentaturism programme you need to travel abroad to Romania, to the city of Cluj-Napoca, one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Europe.

How does a typical treatment session proceed?
Imagine your dental treatment abroad session like a journey from your status as a patient with dental issues to a generous goodbye meal.
That’s right, at the end of the programme we invite you to dinner! But now let’s see the phases of your journey to the heart of Transylvania.
1. Arriving in Cluj-Napoca
When you land at Cluj-Napoca airport, a Dentaturism representative will be waiting for you with a sign or tablet displaying your name. They’ll take you to your hotel or directly to the clinic for your first consultation, depending on your arrival time.
2. First Consultation
At the clinic, you’ll fill out some health forms and get the necessary X-rays. Then, the dentist will check your teeth and discuss your treatment options, timeline, pain tolerance, and budget.
3. Your Treatment Plan
After your consultation, the dentist will create a detailed treatment plan and cost estimate. If anything changes from the initial estimate, we’ll explain why.
Once you agree and sign the treatment plan, you’ll get a schedule for your procedures. If you stay at a partner hotel near the clinic, we’ll provide transportation for your appointments.
4. Treatment Process
Before starting, you’ll need to pay 50% of the total cost upfront, with the rest due at the end of your treatment session.
Sometimes, the plan might change due to unexpected circumstances. For example, if the implantologist specialist discover that your bone isn’t strong enough for a dental implant, then you may need a bone graft procedure. If this happens, we’ll explain all the details, and we’ll only proceed with your approval.
5. End of Treatment & Payment
After your treatment, you’ll receive a detailed bill for final payment. You can pay in RON (Romanian currency), EUR, USD, or by card (Visa, Mastercard).
You’ll also get aftercare instructions and a final check-up to ensure everything is in order. Before you leave, we’ll treat you and your companion to a farewell dinner!
6. Returning home
Just like when you arrived, we’ll provide free transportation back to the airport, ensuring a smooth departure.
